Seamless Web Calendars (no ads or logos in footers)

At the bottom of each calendar (in a footer) we sometimes display an ad, usually to a program or service that works well with Calendars Net. If you want to avoid the appearance of these ads, please go to the Calendars Net Order Form and choose the Calendars Net Ad-Free Calendar ($18 per year). Be sure to include your calendar's file name in the box. Your calendar will be ad-free free within 24 hours and will remain so.

A nonprofit organization can obtain a Non-Profit Calendars with No Ads.

Premium Server

The Calendars Net public servers are getting literally millions of hits per month. When the main server gets multiple hits in the same second, the result can be a few second delay in completing all responses. If you need more speed, you can move your calendar to the Premium Server. We charge $36 per year for this, but traffic on the Premium Server is 99% less than the traffic on the main public server. The Premium Server responds quicker and has never crashed. Also, calendars on the Premium Server have no ads and no Calendars Net logos, so the calendar will appear to be internal to your site. Use the Calendars Net Order Form. If you want more than one calendar on the Premium Server, the prices for multiple calendars on the same order are:

1st calendar

$36

2nd calendar

$30

3rd calendar

$24

4th calendar

$18

more calendars (each)

$12

On the Calendars Net Order Form, just list the name of all of the calendars you want in the box for the Existing Calendar File Name(s).

Check for More Information for Premium Server Users.

Multiple Merging Calendars

Say you have a headquarters (HQ) main office and 10 branch offices. Each branch office can have its own calendar and enter its own events. The main office can display and print any combination of those 10 sets of events on one calendar, with each of the 10 sets color coded as to source. Or all the branch office calendars can automatically show their own events and events entered by the HQ to show on all calendars. For an example, see Oregon Activist Calendar. While there, be sure to hit Apply a Filter in the top right corner. If you have questions, contact Calendars Net. We charge a $50 setup fee and a monthly fee of $10 per increment of 20 calendars single server (20 calendars = $10; 40 calendars = $20, etc.). To order a system, go to the Calendars Net Order Form. The form may ask for your desired directory name. For example, if your directory name were "hello," then the address for all of your calendars would be http://www.calendars.net/hello/NAME [of each calendar].

Be sure, however, that you need this capability. You can create a less sophisticated system of "many virtual calendars in one" by using the Search feature to set up "groups" of events within a single, nonmerging calendar. In the example above, HQ could enter events for itself or for any of the branch offices. Each branch office could also enter events for itself, making sure that each event contains a unique text string identifying the branch office (B1, B2, B3, etc.). Then anyone can search for all "B1" or "B2" or "B3" events, which are then shown on a separate calendar page. The search function currently does not support boolean logic, so you can only search for one term at a time.

Those with multiple merging servers also get direct FTP access to their data files, which enables them to download data files, edit them offline, and upload the revised files. They can also delete and rename their calendars.

Multiple Merging Public Interest Calendars

We are willing to host multiple merging calendars open to a community's public interest groups. The first one is the Oregon Activist Calendar, which shows events scheduled by several public interest groups in Oregon. If you would like us to create a similar calendar system for your community (state, city, nation), please contact Calendars Net.

But first please read the paragraph above using about by using the Search feature to create a system of "many virtual calendars in one." You may be able to fulfill your needs that way, with no waiting.

Your-Branded Calendar Server Hosting for ISPs and Others

We also host calendar servers that are branded to appear that they are hosted by others, such as ISPs.

Fight the Portals! As an ISP, you can keep traffic local by providing your users (exclusively) with interactive web calendar systems branded with your logo (and any other information or links or forms you want). Your users can create their own calendars, contribute their own sets of events, and choose to combine with sets of events submitted by others (using the built-in Multi-Merging Calendar capabilities).. See our sample ISP-Provided Calendar. Your logo (and/or text, links, and forms) would appear at the top or bottom (or both) of every calendar screen viewed.

You can allow only your own customers to use the calendars server by establishing userID and password restrictions on the calendar creation process. Once a calendar is created, however, your customer will be able to determine whom may have access to view, edit, or add events to the calendar created by that customer.

Even if you are not an ISP, you can still provide calendar hosting for your customers, branded with your own logos, messages, links, and forms.

The charges are a one-time $50 setup fee and a monthly fee of $20 for 20 calendars or $100 for 1000 calendars maintained on our server for your users during the month. To order a system, go to the Calendars Net Order Form. If you would prefer other arrangements, contact Calendars Net Branded Calendar Server.
